So I religiously watch The Amazing Race on CBS. I've applied a few times to be on it, but have since decided the experience is not for me. It's now in its 24th season, and I can't imagine there is anyone who isn't familiar at least with the concept of this show. Teams race around the world, finding clues and competing in challenges all for the opportunity to win $1 million. I like the suspense and the action, but what I enjoy most is what it has helped me to learn over the many years.
What I learn from this show is "Never give up." Even when it seems like all hope is lost, you have to fight to the very end. You never know what could be waiting for you at the end. It might be a temporary reprieve. You may not be the last in the race, but even if you are, you have learned from the experience and you have grown as a person because of it. In some way, no matter how small, you are a different person than you were before you began.
